Update on Baby Peyn
November 24th, 2009Baby Peyn had another operation twelve days ago and we understand this was the most difficult of all. I have just talked to his mother by phone. They were scheduled to return from Greece to Cyprus on November 27th, but Peyn’s incision has opened and there is considerable bleeding. Please pray with us that the wound will heal without any complications and the family will soon be reunited.
Mother and Peyn have been gone for two months and the five-year old son is having a very hard time being separated from his mother and brother. Pray for strength and endurance for all of them.
On Thursday, November 25th, the husband is to appear before Immigration officials to have their case reviewed. One office has told him that they can be granted a visa for a year but his wife must be present. Her delay in Athens complicates matters. Please pray that the Lord will provide a kind and fair person to approve the visa.
Together with the family we praise the Lord for His mercy, protection, and provision for the number of operations that Peyn has had. His parents are very aware of the fact that had they been in their own country they would not have received any help and their child would have grown up as an outcast. They praise His Name for His kindness and mercy to them. Amen!
In His Love,
