Dedicated to the Lord

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.” (John 1:1-3)

As we launch this RP Global Missions blog I want to start with our focus in the right place, with our eyes squarely fixed on Jesus.

This blog is dedicated to the One who is worthy of all praise and glory. This is not a blog to lift up the names of men and women who have done mighty thing. This is a blog that is revealing the awesome works of God and reflecting on his great promises. Without Jesus Christ we would have nothing to write about.

Heavenly Father,

We ask that you would use this space for your kingdom purposes and for your name’s sake. We pray that the words that are written here would be words that constantly point back to Jesus. Please remove from this platform every word that is untrue and all that is written out of selfish ambition.

This blog is dedicated to you, Lord Jesus, and we pray that through it you will find this small offering of ours as a sweet-smelling sacrifice before your throne. We pray that this aroma would reach to the ends of the earth through our prayers and selfless actions, though we are but broken vessels.

Spirit, grant us the wisdom to proclaim that which will be edifying to the church and magnifying to your name in all the earth.

We pray this in the name of Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
