MEMBER COMMITMENT: Members of RPGM’s Welcoming Ministry agree to:
Our goal: Our main goal is to welcome the internationals in our midst and prayerfully lead people to repent, believe in Jesus Christ, and be discipled in our existing churches or establish new churches with locally trained elders.
Our structure: We will organize in teams typically consisting of 2-3 men, 2-3 women, or 2-3 married couples. We also welcome individuals. We encourage any teams to gather locally at least monthly (in person or online) for encouragement, accountability, and prayer. All individuals and teams involved in this ministry will gather monthly (virtually) for training, testifying, and prayer in a network call.
Our curriculum: We will use the curriculum material from Via and Every International to be further equipped as we minister cross-culturally with immigrants, refugees or international students in our midst.
TIME COMMITMENT: Minimum 1-2 hours of weekly outreach and a one-hour monthly online network call with Welcomers in other regions.
