    ECHO International farm develops seeds and agricultural practices to share with missionaries and local pastors and churches in over 190 countries. The ECHO trip goes down to assist with the hard work on the farm, to help participants understand the work and mission of ECHO. Trip leaders disciple participants through Bible Studies and mentorship. This trip is a ministry of Southside RPC.

  • The Opportunity:

    • We are seeking ministry partners who can serve anytime over the course of a year. We are currently seeking partners for the fall of 2026 and through 2027.

    • We ask ministry partners to stay for a minimum of one month - longer terms are welome.

    • We provide a two-bedroom apartment and there is possible access to a vehicle

    Needed Experience:

    • We are looking for Christians who have good organizational skills and who have experience in the many dimensions of congregational activities.

    • Ideal ministry partners include people who have flexibility in their schedule (retirees, remote workers, etc.)

    • We welcome those  who can step into many different roles including community outreach, leading bible studies, teaching SS classes, and assisting members with ordinary activities during the week.

    About the Church:

    • Stranraer Reformed Presbyterian Church (SRPC), located in the southwest of Scotland, is a small, faithful, and historically significant RP congregation. Its rural location and limited local leadership pose challenges in maintaining momentum, encouraging members, and building outreach capacity.

    • SRPC is the oldest of the current Reformed Presbyterian congregations in Scotland, located in Stranraer, Wigtownshire, Scotland. SRPC was founded in 1796 and after 230 years of continuous service is undergoing revitalization after a number of years of decline.
