Lead a Short-Term Trip
TEAM LEADS for our short-term trips are responsible for working with our hosts to plan and schedule the short-term trip, helping prepare team members for the trip, leading the team throughout the trip, and managing team funds.
Team Leads play an essential role for our short-term trips. With the support of the RPGM Short Term staff, they act as the primary liaison for team members and host congregations. They also help represent RPGM at the trip sites as they lead their teams in service, support team members as they adjust to a new culture, and interact with host congregations.
TRAINING: RPGM provides a Leadership Seminar for Team Leads to equip them with the tools for leading small groups. In this seminar, RPGM also provides the information specific to leading short-term trips with RPGM.
COST: The trip cost for a Team Lead is split among team members (including the Team Lead). Team Leads are given a stipend, which amount varies based on trip.
